A standardized process in the continuous improvement process offers several advantages:
By introducing the Trevios© software, you ensure that
With the CIP module of the Trevios© software, you can carry out CIP workshops on problems, general topics and objectives, document them and derive suitable measures. All measures undergo their own editing process, whereby the processing of the measures is decentralized by the team members (measure managers).
Methods such as 5W or Ichikawa support the user in deriving measures.
Any approvals required to carry out the workshop can be requested in the software. Once all the entries have been made, the next steps can be planned
The workshop goes through the Plan, Do, Check and Act phases:
In the PLAN step, the moderator takes over the processing of the workshop. The moderator records the objectives in the form of parameters. They can record the current value of the parameter as well as the target value.
Suspected causes are then determined. The moderator is supported by various methods within the software.
A root cause analysis is carried out in the software using the 5W method, for example. This ensures that the cause of the problem and the resulting measures are found.
Ishikawa is also a clear tool for analyzing the causes of a problem in the CIP workshop.
Causes can be displayed here in different colors according to their importance.
In the “DO” status, appropriate measures are taken to rectify the causes identified in the “Plan” status. The improvements developed by the team can be recorded as measures in the software. Detailed information on the measures can be entered by the moderator.
Employees are assigned to the measure as the person responsible for the measure. The processing of the measures is decentralized as a task by the employee and is monitored centrally by the moderator.
Once the measures have been successfully processed, the moderator can move the workshop to the next processing step “CHECK”.
The objectives defined in the “PLAN” step can be checked and compared in the “CHECK” step. In addition, predefined measures (in this status of the workshop) can be used to ensure that predefined tasks are always fulfilled. By entering the data, the moderator can transfer the workshop to the “ACT” status.
The ACT status checks whether the measures taken have a lasting effect and ensures that process changes are described and followed. It also checks whether the improvements achieved can also be applied to other areas of the company.
Furthermore, predefined measures can be used to ensure that predefined tasks are always fulfilled in this processing step. Once all the data has been entered and the tasks have been completed, the moderator can conclude the workshop.
The standard reports provide you with a comprehensive overview of your CIP activities. Evaluations can be carried out per workshop or across all workshops. All data can be visualized. Results are displayed and prepared in Microsoft© Excel format.
